Transporting Your Pup

We can transport your puppy by airplane or you can come to pick up your puppy. We do ask that during extreme weather conditions, to please remain patient. We do not allow our puppies to be transported by plane if we are not absolutely sure they will arrive happy and healthy. And the airline will not ship puppies if colder than 20 degrees or warmer than 85 degrees. We do ship pups at a flat rate of 400.00 to the lower 48 states. This includes crate and supplies needed to transport via air carrier. When transporting by air, we provide you with shot records, health certificate and vet check statements, registration papers, a carrier, water and food bowl. We recommend you bring newspapers, paper towels, and a spray cleaner to clean the carrier upon arrival. These big pups can really make a mess during flight and the airport officials are not allowed to open the carriers to clean them. It makes your trip home with your new puppy a much more pleasant smelling experience.

We would love to have you come pick your puppy up. Make sure if you are using this method, you come prepared to travel with such a large puppy. A Medium to Large size kennel is appropriate depending on the age and weight of your puppy. These big guys can leave really big piles, so bring lots of newspapers, paper towels and plastic sacks for disposal. They also need plenty of water and drink very often. We send you home with a leash for those much needed bathroom breaks or exercise. Large breed puppies do travel very well and do not seem to get as stressed as smaller breeds.

All of our puppies will be treated with Sentinel when they leave our home to prevent against fleas and ticks. Please do not retreat your puppy with a flea or tick medication within 30 days of their arrival to your home.

DELIVERY

We do offer a free delivery of up to 120 miles.

At times we offer ground delivery instead of flight delivery. Ground delivery depends on the availability of transporters. It also requires a more flexible scheduling. Ground delivery fee is anywhere between 150 to 350 depending on where you live. Ground delivery is scheduled by us Delightful D's Danes and requires 2 consecutive days in which you are free to be available for the transporter to deliver your pup. A lot more information is available about ground delivery and will be discussed between the buyer and us if this option is available at the time pups are ready to go to their forever homes.
