STUD SERVICE
At this time we only offer live cover options.
Stud service options:

Option 1) Flat fee of $1400 (stud fee).
Option 2) Sire fee of 800 deposit (non refundable) upfront and the remaining 800 is due 10 days after the live birth of 2 pups.

Option 3) 500 (non refundable deposit upfront) and pick of the litter. Stud owner has a right to refuse this option.

CONTRACT
Option 1) Dam owner brings the dam to us and has the option of doing 1 or 2 matings (with a day break between the ties) with successful ties in the presence of both owners. The stud fee is to be paid upfront before mating occurs. If no tie happens or slip tie than stud fee will be given back.

Option 2) 800.00 of the stud fee is due before any mating occurs. Stud owner will guarantee 3 successful ties over a 3 to 5 day period. Dam owner agrees to have an ultrasound and/or
xrays between day 53- 60 of first tie. The appointment is to be made by the dam’s owner(s) and shared with the sires owner. We have the right to be present for the appointment. The results of this appointment are required to be sent via email to
delightfuldsdanes@gmail.com. If no pregnancy has occurred than (300) of the 800 stud fee
will be returned to the dam’s owner within 7 days of receiving the results of the
appointment. If pregnancy has occured that the dams owner agrees to pay the remaining 800 no later than 7 days after the live birth of 2 puppies.
Option 3)
Pick of Litter: Sire owner will be notified withing 24 hours after the first pup is born by
phone 541 238 7204. Dam owner will be available to give weekly updates of how the pups
are doing and provide pictures once a week to the sire owner. The sire owner will make
their POL no later than 42 days after the pups are born (6 weeks). Dam owner agrees to old
the pup until 8 weeks old and up to 10 weeks if needed free of charge. After which only a
max of a 15 a day charge can be applied until the pup can be picked up. Dam owner also
agrees to ship the pup if needed be at the expense of the sire’s owner. Sire owner will pay
for the crate and flight cargo charge only. Any extra (gas, food, etc.) is the responsibility of the dam’s owner.

REQUIREMENTS:
Dam Requirements:

Dam must be in good health. I understand females can become lean and lose weight when in heat, refuse food etc. Good health means proof of last deworming, shot record, and her last health vet checkup. Sire has the right to refuse service for any reason or suspected poor health of the dam.

Pedigree and pictures must be provided before signing into a contract.

Responsible for Dams transportation costs.

Extreme aggression of dam will not be accepted for live breeding. Sire owner understands that Dam may display some signs of aggression while in a heat cycle. If this aggression escalates to a point to where the mating experience becomes unsafe for both or either owners or the dogs than mating will be denied.

Signature of contract before relinquishing the dam in the care of Delightful D’s Danes.

Dam owner agrees and adheres that they have the bitch’s best welfare at interest and that they are able and capable of caring for this bitch if in whelp and for the litter. They will provide all necessities, including veterinary care, adequate feed, water, and shelter for the dam and puppies. They also agree to be present and alert for entire time of whelping of puppies from the first to the last pup is born. Dam owner also agrees to have the pups remain in their care up to 8 weeks of age and provide deworming treatment as well as first set of shots for all puppies. Failure to do so will result in denial of all future breedings as well as acknowledging that their name and the proof of findings of failure to do so may go public.

Dam owner takes responsibility of all vet care relating to the dam dog only. If emergency care is needed, the dam owner agrees that Delightful D’s Danes can take the dam to the Emergency Vet Clinic near by to receive care and will attempt to contact the Dams owner every hour until contact has been made. IF CONTACT CANNOT BE MADE RIGHT AWAY, than delightful d’s danes will give the ok to any necessary treatment and that the dams owner is responsible for the expense.

It is the dams owners responsibility to inform Delightful D’s Danes of any special needs of the dam or feeding requirements etc. This information can be attached to the contract and signed by both parties, (SIRE OWNER AND DAM OWNER)

Dam owner agrees to pick up the dam no later than 5 days from the day of drop off. If dam owner can not pick up dam by day 5, there will be a $30 a day, boarding and care charge for the dam until the dam can be picked up.

It is the Dams owner responsibility to bring the dam at the proper time for breeding to Delightful D’s Danes for mating.

It is the Dams owner responsibility to keep the dam inaccessible to any males during the full stage of heat cycle. (beginning to end) other than the sire chose for mating.

The breeder also agrees to make known to the stud dog owner the placement of the puppies and contact information so that the stud owner can follow the progress of the offspring. New puppy owners’ names, addresses, and telephone numbers will be provided. Bitch owner agrees to notify stud owner of any health problems that may arise in litter

Dam owner agrees to notify Delightful D’s Danes of any championships won by any of the pups from the litter within 30 days of Championship title won.

Should the dam’s owner disagree or have issue with any of the above criteria which can not be resolved in open communication after the signing of this contract and wants to proceed in a court room decision, the dams owner agrees to file in the Marion County Court of Oregon and pay the court fees associated with that.
Sire Requirements:

Sire must be in good health.

Will provide pedigree and pictures to dam owner before signing into a contract.

If on a POL contract, agrees to make a pick before pups are 6 weeks of age and also agrees to notify which pups are not of interest so they can be made available to interested families.

Reserve the right to refuse female for any reason.

Responsible for Sire’s transportation costs and POL cost of travel crate and shipping via ground or flight.

Signature of contract before taking control of the dam. Provide a copy to the Dams owner at the same time.

Stud owner will sign the AKC litter registration when full payment of services has been received. And if on POL, stud owner will sign AKC litter registration after first set of pictures of pups have been received along with their weights.

Stud owner agrees to maintain reasonable care of the dam while in Delightful D’s Danes care. Reasonable care means feeding, shelter, water, supervision etc. Does not include vet care.

Stud owner takes responsibility of all vet care relating to the stud dog only.

Stud owner agrees to only mate the female to the stud of choice by the dams owner and agrees to keep the female inaccessible to all other males on the premises. As well as when outside the confines of the house (taking potty walks and exercise) dam will remain on leash and inaccessible to any other males. If for some reason the dam were to escape when outside the facilities premises, the sires owner will take responsibility and pay a fine of ____________ (dam owners need to fill in this amount prior to signing the contract) if the dam can not be located or found.

If the dams owner breaches this contract and an amended agreement can not be reached between the dams owner and the sire owner, Delightful D’s Danes has the right to proceed in a court room decision which by signing this contract agrees that it will be filed with the Marion County Court of Oregon with a limit of no more than 3000 in damages.
I/We the undersigned, have thoroughly read and understand the contents of the entirety of this agreement and acknowledge this to be a true and binding contract. By the signing of this contract, I/We, do hereby agree and make absolute promise to abide by its terms and conditions. By signing this contract we agree to the conditions of above.
