Training Your Dane

I strongly recommend that new owners
take their pups to a trainer for training.  This is a good for several
reasons:

If they are inside dogs their size  can cause unforeseen problems for those
unfamiliar with these gentle giants.  They will look full-grown but are still
babies in their actions.  They need a disciplined structure in which to  thrive.
You as owner need to provide  that structure so you can set healthy boundaries
as to what is acceptable for  them to do and what is not. By providing this
training, it will diminish  frustration for both you and your pup. It will also
prevent abusive situations  from developing due to frustration.
